Netflix’s Indian military series ‘Operation Safed Sagar: The Untold Story of the Kargil War’ has reached No. 2 on the platform’s Global Top 10 Non-English TV List.
According to a PTI report from Mumbai today, the six-episode series premiered on Netflix on August 7 and has remained in the global Top 10 for two consecutive weeks, the series has entered the Top 10 in 40 countries and reached No. 1 in 10 countries.
Along with the success of ‘Operation Safed Sagar’, Netflix has announced a new documentary titled ‘The Last Salute’. The documentary will focus on the 62-year history of the MiG-21 with the Indian Air Force.
‘The Last Salute’ will also cover the role of the MiG-21 during the 1999 Kargil War and its long association with the Indian Air Force.
