Network18’s Mana Run Hyderabad 2nd Edition, presented by News18 Telugu, brought together more than 5,000 participants at Gachibowli Stadium on Sunday, August 16. The event saw participation from runners, families, children, fitness enthusiasts and specially-abled participants from across the city.
According to a Network18 press release from Hyderabad today, the event promoted fitness, community participation and the message of a healthier and drug-free India. Mana Run is aligned with the Government of India’s Fit India Movement and aims to encourage people to make fitness a part of their daily lives.
The Hyderabad edition featured several running and fitness categories, including 1K and 2K Kids Runs, 2K Costumed Run, 3K Walkathon, 5K and 10K Fun Runs, along with competitive 5K and 10K Timed Runs. The different categories allowed people of different ages and fitness levels to participate.
A major highlight of the event was the participation of specially-abled members. Their presence alongside thousands of other participants reflected the inclusive and community-focused spirit of Mana Run.
V.C. Sajjanar, IPS, Commissioner of Police, Hyderabad, attended the event as the Chief Guest, while T. Annapurna, IPS, Deputy Commissioner of Police (Admin), Cyberabad, was the Guest of Honour. Their presence highlighted the event’s focus on fitness, community participation and building a healthier society.
Mana Run Hyderabad 2026 was supported by partners from various sectors. Calcimax 500 was the Bone & Joint Health Partner, while Gold Winner was a Powered By partner and Reliance Industries was the Co-Powered By partner. Milky Mist was the Protein Partner, Fast&Up the Energy Partner, US Cranberries the Nutrition Partner and Dynapar QPS Plus the Pain Relief Partner.
Decathlon joined as the Sports Partner, Axis Bank as the Banking Partner and Medicover Hospitals as the Health Partner. Campa Sure was the Hydration Partner, while Nagarjuna Cements and Orient Bell Tiles supported the event as Special Partners.
