Republic Media Network Editor-in-Chief and Founder Arnab Goswami will be the keynote speaker at the seventh edition of the South India Media Summit (SIMS) 2026, scheduled to be held in Hyderabad on September 28.
The announcement was made by Fourth Dimension Media Solutions. The event will bring together professionals from the media, advertising, marketing, business and technology sectors.
Arnab Goswami has previously been associated with the South India Media Summit, including its Chennai edition in 2019 and Hyderabad edition in 2023.
His participation as the keynote speaker this year comes as the summit focuses on the growing importance of regional markets in India’s media and marketing landscape.
The Hyderabad edition will be inaugurated by Dr Vivekananda Gaddam, Minister, Government of Telangana, and Vamsi Gaddam, Member of Parliament, Lok Sabha.
The summit will feature speakers from media, advertising, FMCG, automotive, finance, healthcare, technology and emerging businesses.
Among those scheduled to participate are Uday Jadhav, CEO of Sakal Media Group; Ashwin Padmanabhan, COO, WPP Media – South Asia; Mohit Joshi, CEO, Havas Media Network, India; Hemant Arora, VP & Global Head, Truecaller; Dr Kailash Katkar, Founder and Managing Director, Quick Heal Technologies; Arjun Bhatia, CMO, Matrimony. com ; and Jaikishin Chhaproo, Head – Media & Brand PR, ITC, among others.
Key discussions at SIMS 2026 are expected to focus on regional market strategies, the convergence of media, technology and commerce, content and OTT, connected television, AI-led marketing and changing consumer behaviour.
Speaking about the announcement, Shankar B, CEO of Fourth Dimension Media Solutions, said Arnab Goswami’s participation highlights the growing importance of South India in shaping the future of Indian media and marketing.
Arnab Goswami said South India is playing an important role in shaping the national conversation and that he looks forward to returning to Hyderabad to engage with leaders who are shaping the next chapter of Indian media.
The South India Media Summit made its debut in Chennai in 2018 and returned to the city in 2019 and 2022. It later travelled to Hyderabad in 2023, Kochi in 2024 and Coimbatore in 2025. The 2026 Hyderabad edition will mark the summit’s seventh edition.
