Anurradha Prasad, Chairperson and Managing Director of BAG Network and founder of News24, has been honoured with the prestigious ‘Women Media Entrepreneur of the Year’ award at the 12th BCS Ratna Award 2026.

The award recognises her contribution to the Indian media and broadcasting industry and her journey as a prominent woman entrepreneur in the media sector.

Speaking after receiving the award, Anurradha Prasad expressed her gratitude to the BCS Ratna Award and thanked Dr. A.K. Rastogi and Anurag Rastogi for the recognition. She said that while awards are received at different platforms, what is more important is to continue doing something meaningful and positive every day.

Prasad also spoke about the importance of working with young professionals in the media industry. She said that receiving the award alongside and among many youngsters made the moment even more special for her.

Expressing her happiness, she said she felt honoured and was glad to receive the recognition at the prestigious BCS Ratna Award.

The 12th BCS Ratna Awards 2026 brought together leading names from India’s broadcasting, cable TV, digital media, OTT, entertainment and technology sectors. The awards recognised individuals and organisations for their achievements and contribution to the media and entertainment industry.

The prestigious ceremony was organised by Aavishkar Media Group under the leadership of Dr. A.K. Rastogi, with Anurag Rastogi also associated with the awards and the celebration of excellence across India’s media and broadcasting ecosystem.
