Actor Huma Qureshi has officially started shooting for the fifth season of the popular political drama series ‘Maharani’ with the actor sharing the exciting update with her fans through her Instagram Stories and confirming that cameras have started rolling for the new season.
According to a PTI report from Mumbai yesterday, Huma posted a picture from the set, announcing that filming for ‘Maharani’ Season 5 is now underway. While she did not reveal any details about the storyline or the release date, the announcement has already created excitement among fans of the acclaimed series.
‘Maharani’ follows the journey of Rani Bharti, played by Huma, a simple homemaker whose life takes an unexpected turn when she is appointed the Chief Minister of Bihar after her husband is forced to resign.
Despite having no political experience, Rani gradually transforms into a strong and determined leader, navigating power struggles, political conspiracies and personal challenges.
Over the years, the series has earned praise for its engaging political drama, powerful storytelling and Huma’s performance in the lead role.
