BULLET Microdrama, the short-form entertainment platform backed by ZEE Entertainment Enterprises Ltd., has appointed Apurba Sen as Vice President, Business Strategy & Sales, as the company looks to expand its business in India and overseas.
According to a BULLET Microdrama press release today from Mumbai,the appointment comes as BULLET Microdrama enters its next phase of growth following the launch of Trinetra AI, its AI-powered filmmaking and content intelligence platform.
In his new role, Sen will lead strategic initiatives from the Founder’s Office across BULLET Microdrama, Trinetra AI and future business ventures. He will work closely with the leadership team on business growth, strategic partnerships, fundraising, commercial expansion and international market development.
Sen brings more than 20 years of experience in digital businesses, having worked across advertising technology, retail media, connected TV, streaming, AI-powered creative technologies and other emerging digital platforms.
During his career, he has helped introduce and grow several global technology platforms in India while building partnerships with advertisers, publishers, agencies and technology companies.
Commenting on the appointment, Azim Lalani, Co-founder and Chief Business Officer of BULLET Microdrama, said Sen’s experience in strategy, partnerships and business growth will support the company’s expansion plans in India and global markets.
Sharing his thoughts, Apurba Sen said BULLET Microdrama has become one of India’s leading microdrama platforms and, with Trinetra AI, aims to build an entertainment operating system that helps creators and the entertainment industry worldwide.
The company said the appointment strengthens its leadership team as it continues to expand its entertainment ecosystem by combining content, artificial intelligence and creator-focused technologies.
