Global marketing and communications company Havas has acquired Dutch sports marketing agency SportVibes to expand its sports marketing business in Europe.
According to a Havas LinkedIn post, SportVibes will now operate as ‘SportVibes by Havas Play’ and become part of Havas Play, the company’s global sports and entertainment marketing division.
The acquisition will help Havas strengthen its services in sports sponsorships, fan engagement, live events, and brand partnerships.
By combining SportVibes’ local expertise with Havas’ global network, the company aims to offer better sports marketing solutions to brands across the Benelux region, which includes the Netherlands, Belgium, and Luxembourg.
The existing leadership team of SportVibes will continue to run the agency, ensuring a smooth transition while working closely with Havas’ international teams.
