Bollywood actress Alia Bhatt has started her preparations for Shah Rukh Khan’s next home production film ‘Darlings’, which also stars Shefali Shah, Vijay Verma, and Roshan Mathew.
Billed as a story of a quirky mother-duo, ‘Darlings’ is set in Mumbai against the backdrop of a conservative lower-middle-class neighborhood, the film shows the lives of two women as they find courage and love in exceptional circumstances.
The 28-year-old actress took to her Instagram stories to share a picture of the script, captioned the post, ‘Prep’.

The dark-comedy, which marks Bhatt’s invasion into the film production, the film is the directorial debut of writer Jasmeet K Reen.
Besides ‘Darlings’, Alia will be seen in Sanjay Leela Bhansali-directed ‘Gangubai Kathiawadi’, Ayan Mukherji’s ‘Brahmastra’, and SS Rajamouli’s ‘RRR’.
