Flipkart has expanded its promotional campaign for the GOAT Sale with a unique on-ground activation on the set of ‘India’s Best Dancer’, bringing a live goat to the show as part of its latest marketing initiative.
According to SET Instagram post, the activation was carried out during the fifth season of India’s Best Dancer, which features Karisma Kapoor, Javed Jaffrey, Terence Lewis and Geeta Kapur as judges, with Haarsh Limbachiyaa hosting the programme.
The television integration forms part of Flipkart’s wider marketing campaign for its GOAT Sale, which has been promoted through a mix of television, digital and on-ground activations aimed at boosting visibility and consumer engagement.
Earlier as part of the campaign, Flipkart deployed branded mobile vans outside the offices of a rival e-commerce company. The vans displayed promotional messages highlighting GOAT Sale offers and encouraged passers-by to scan QR codes that directed them to a dedicated landing page for the sale.
The company has also rolled out a digital campaign featuring Don, an albino buffalo that recently gained popularity on social media. Conceptualised by Talented, the campaign positions Don as the face of the GOAT Sale, with the buffalo humorously selecting daily deals from discount options presented by Flipkart executives.
The Flipkart GOAT Sale began on July 4, with the company adopting an integrated marketing strategy spanning television partnerships, experiential activations and digital content to build awareness and drive customer participation throughout the shopping event.
By combining entertainment integrations with unconventional campaign ideas, Flipkart is looking to strengthen consumer recall for its flagship sale while engaging audiences across multiple platforms.
