Subscription free OTT platform VETO has expanded its live TV service by adding 28 new channels, taking its total live channel count to over 55.
The new additions are available in 12 Indian languages, including Hindi, Punjabi, Gujarati, Marathi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Odia, Bangla, Bhojpuri and Haryanvi.The newly added channels span news, movies, music, entertainment, kids, infotainment and devotional genres, further strengthening the platform’s regional content library.
According to a VETO press release, the latest additions include YRF Music, five channels from Epic Network, and 19 regional channels. Some of the new regional news channels are Kolkata TV, R Plus, Gujarat First, Sandesh News, Sakshi TV, Mahaa News, ABN Andhrajyothi and News Tamil. Entertainment channels such as NRK TV, Punjabi Hits, Tabbar Hits and Mahaa Maxx have also been added.
According to the company, these additions strengthen its news content in South and East India while expanding entertainment and music options in North and West India. The company said the expansion is aimed at offering more regional language content, especially for viewers outside metro cities.
VETO already streams popular channels such as India TV, NDTV India, NDTV Marathi, Manorama News, B4U Movies, B4U Music, Sanskar, Total Bhakti, Shubh, Satsang and the 9XM music network.
Apart from live TV, VETO also offers more than 500 hours of children’s content, including animated shows, mythology-based stories and original series. Users can also watch cricket analysis by former cricketers R. Ashwin, Wasim Jaffer and S. Badrinath, along with podcasts, documentaries, interviews, AI-based storytelling, lifestyle shows, devotional content, astrology updates, wellness programmes and motorsports coverage.
Speaking on the expansion, Ritu Dhawan, Managing Director of VETO, said the addition of 28 new live channels further strengthens the platform’s presence in South and East India and supports its goal of providing content for viewers of all age groups in their preferred language.
VETO is available without a mandatory subscription or login and continues to expand its regional and on-demand content for connected TV users across India.
