Tringbox raises Rs.5cr seed funding to build AI-Powered in-store music intelligence platform

AI-first music technology startup Tringbox has raised approximately ₹5 crore in seed funding to expand its environment-aware in-store music intelligence platform designed for commercial spaces.

The funding round was led by GIPL through investor Nikhil Gandhi, with participation from MGB Family Office and Paytm Chief Business Officer Narendra Singh Yadav. Additional angel investors also participated through One Love Technologies Private Limited, Tringbox’s parent company.

Founded by Amandeep Singh Chawla, the Mumbai-based startup spent its first year operating in stealth mode, focusing on product development, pilot deployments and customer feedback. The company said its platform is currently deployed across more than 30 premium venues in India, including cafés, gyms, salons, clubs, restaurants, retail outlets and clinics.

Tringbox is also backed by access to NVIDIA Inception and AWS startup credits worth Rs.1 crore, which the company said will support the development of large-scale real-time music intelligence infrastructure.

The company is building what it describes as an environment-aware in-store AI music platform that dynamically adjusts music based on factors such as venue type, weather conditions, temperature, humidity, time of day and day of the week.

At the core of the platform is Tringbox’s proprietary Hybrid Neuro-Symbolic Music Engine, which combines audio intelligence with real-time venue context. The system analyses musical attributes including tempo, rhythm, loudness, energy, spectral balance and harmonic stability to create music environments tailored to specific commercial spaces.

“At Tringbox, we believe music is not just content; it is infrastructure,” said Chawla. “Wherever there is a speaker inside a commercial space, the music playing through it should be powered by Tringbox.”

Prior to launching Tringbox, Chawla worked in analytics consulting at Ernst & Young, led growth strategy and analytics at Amazon MX Player, and most recently served as General Manager at Paytm.

According to the company, the platform enables multi-location brands to manage music consistently across hundreds of outlets through a centralized dashboard. Features include music monitoring, offline alerts when playback stops, and automated loudness management to maintain ambience standards.

Tringbox said its solution aims to reduce dependence on static playlists, manual staff intervention and music licensing complexities, allowing businesses to focus on customer experience.

The company’s technology team is led by Chief Technology Officer Badal Desai, who has more than a decade of experience in music systems, audio engineering and applied AI.

In addition to its enterprise offering, Tringbox operates a consumer-facing music interaction platform that allows guests at restaurants, bars and entertainment venues to request songs through QR codes.

Its AI-powered “Vibe Check” system evaluates whether song requests align with a venue’s music policy, audience profile, time of day and ambience requirements. The platform also integrates with DJs, singers, karaoke hosts and performers through the Tringbox Partner App.

The company said these features create additional revenue opportunities through song requests, tips and premium features while helping venues maintain control over the overall music experience.

Tringbox plans to use the fresh capital to accelerate product development, expand its intelligent speaker network and increase deployments across premium venues in India.

The startup believes more than one million commercial establishments across sectors such as retail, hospitality, wellness and healthcare represent a near-term opportunity for intelligent music infrastructure.
