The media and entertainment powerhouse, Zee Media Corporation Limited has appointed Tarique Faridy as Editor of Zee Salaam, based out in Noida.
Tarique will report to Chief Business Officer, Cluster 3.
Tarique will be responsible to lead news operations of the channel and contribute to the success by strategizing editorial and channel programming.
Tarique brings with him over 21 years of journalism experience in electronic and print media, revolving around launching and managing channels, setting up studios etc.
Before joining ZMCL, he has worked with companies like Star News, ABP News, India TV, ETV Urdu, Rashtriya Sahara, and Pragya Channel.
Welcoming Tarique to the company, ZMCL said in a press note, “Let us welcome Tarique to the Zee family and extend all the support to him as settles in the team. We wish him success in all his endeavors.”
