Warner Bros. Discovery is closing the year with a fresh slate of holiday programming across Cartoon Network, POGO and Discovery Kids, rolling out new shows and festive specials as families gear up for the Christmas season.
The networks are introducing new characters, year-end stunts and fresh episodes of fan favourites designed to bring added cheer and colour to the holiday break.
According to a company announcement, Cartoon Network will headline its seasonal programming with the debut of ‘Om Nom Stories’ on December 15.
The show revolves around Om Nom, the curious green creature who jumps into a new adventure every day from superheroes to astronauts to café owners transforming simple scenarios into fast, humorous and imaginative stories.
Joined by Nibble Nom, Om Nelle and Spider, the series adds light, playful fun ahead of Christmas. The show will air Monday to Friday at 10.30 am and on weekends from 8.30 am onward.
POGO will also join the festive programming wave with ‘Omi No. 1’, a new comedy series launching on December 15 and airing Monday to Friday at 11.30 am and 7.00 pm in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada.
The show follows Omi, the over-pampered but big-hearted grandson of Milk King Kedarnath, whose ordinary days spiral into wild adventures — from school mishaps to unexpected jobs, chases, jungle escapades and competitions. His quirky mix-ups typically lead to chaos but somehow end with him saving the day, adding to the upbeat mood of the season.
On Discovery Kids, the channel is closing out the year with ‘Titoo: Shararat ka Grand Countdown’, running from December 25 to December 31 at 9.30 am every day. Featuring mischievous pranks, rapid-fire storylines and cheerful antics, the special promises a fun-filled holiday finale.
As part of the Christmas week build-up, Cartoon Network is also rolling out brand-new episodes of ‘Teen Titans Go!’ from December 25 to January 2 at 11.30 am, adding more comedy and energetic adventures to its festive offering. Meanwhile, POGO is lining up a series of telefeatures and crossovers, including ‘Big Picture Multiverse ka Mayajaal’ every Sunday till December 21 at 1 pm, ‘Jay Jagannath Telefeature Maarechka ka Mayajaal’ on December 27 at 11.30 am, and ‘Chhota Bheem’ & ‘Ghatotkach’ on December 28 at 11.30 am.
With these premieres, specials and year-end programming spreads, Warner Bros. Discovery’s kids’ networks are gearing up for a lively holiday season packed with fresh stories, vibrant characters and festive entertainment for children and families.
