Veer Pahariya and Aparshakti Khurana are set to headline the upcoming Hindi romantic comedy-drama ‘Prem Keetanu’, which is scheduled to release in cinemas on October 2, 2026, during the Gandhi Jayanti weekend.

Directed by Apoorv Singh Karki, known for ‘Sirf Ek Bandaa Kaafi Hai’ and the popular streaming series ‘Aspirants’, the film is produced by Gaurav Verma under the banner of Avanika Films.

Set against the backdrop of young India, ‘Prem Keetanu’ explores love, friendship, college life and career uncertainty while blending romance and comedy. The film is positioned as a youthful coming-of-age story centred on the experiences and challenges faced by a new generation.

Veer Pahariya will play the lead role of a carefree college backbencher navigating student life, first love and confusion over his career. Aafiya Sayed will be seen as the female lead, while Aparshakti Khurana plays a pivotal role and brings his trademark comic timing to the story.

The supporting cast includes veteran actor Rakesh Bedi and digital comedian Nikhil Vijay.

With Karki directing, ‘Prem Keetanu’ aims to present a relatable take on romance and growing up, with a strong North Indian setting and conversational humour. The film is slated for a theatrical release on October 2, 2026.
