India’s leading policymakers, economists and business leaders will come together at the 11th edition of the Times Network India Economic Conclave (IEC) 2025, scheduled to be held on December 17 and 18 in New Delhi. The two-day conclave will be themed ‘Navigating Geoeconomics’ and will focus on India’s economic strategy and resilience amid rapidly shifting global dynamics.
According to a Times Network press release, the India Economic Conclave has, over the years, emerged as a premier global platform for high-level dialogue on economic reforms, global competitiveness and India’s long-term growth roadmap. With more than a decade of legacy, the conclave has consistently shaped conversations around policy, performance and strategic priorities, bringing together influential voices from India and abroad.

Sessions will explore key themes such as economic resilience, trade and capital flows, manufacturing and infrastructure growth, digital and services-led expansion, and emerging areas including artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, climate transition, mobility and defence preparedness. The conclave is expected to host immersive and wide-ranging conversations that reflect both domestic priorities and global challenges.
The speaker line-up features some of the most prominent names across government, academia and industry. Union Finance and Corporate Affairs Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, Road Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari, Labour and Employment and Youth Affairs and Sports Minister Mansukh Mandaviya, and Environment, Forest and Climate Change Minister Bhupender Yadav are among the key political leaders scheduled to participate. The conclave will also see participation from Sanjeev Sanyal, Member of the Prime Minister’s Economic Advisory Council, and noted economist Gita Gopinath, Professor at Harvard University and former Deputy Managing Director of the IMF.
Industry leadership will be represented by Rajan Bharti Mittal of Bharti Enterprises, Zoho Corporation’s co-founder and chief scientist Sridhar Vembu, IN-SPACe Chairman Pawan Goenka, Kotak Mahindra Asset Management’s Nilesh Shah, AIonOS co-founder CP Gurnani, World Gold Council CEO David Tait, and Jay Chaudhry, among others. Senior leaders from banking, manufacturing, mobility, clean energy, technology, healthcare and consumer sectors will also take part in the discussions.
