Mumbai-based The EPIC Company has announced the launch of EPIC Studio, a next-generation creative studio that brings together the strengths, talent networks and production capabilities of Juggernaut Productions and MovieVerse Studio under a unified banner. The move is aimed at building a streamlined and scalable platform to deliver premium storytelling across film, OTT and television.
According to a EPIC Company press release, the newly launched studio is designed to function as a collaborative and platform-agnostic production ecosystem that integrates development, production and distribution within a single structure. The initiative is part of the company’s broader strategy to evolve into a future-ready storytelling enterprise capable of creating content across multiple formats and screens.
As part of the new structure, Vivek Krishnani will head the films business as Chief Executive Officer, EPIC Studio (Films), while Samar Khan will continue to lead the OTT and television vertical as Chief Executive Officer, EPIC Studio (OTT & Television). Khan will also continue in his role as Chief Content Officer across DocuBay and EPIC ON.
Commenting on the launch, Aditya Pittie, Managing Director of The EPIC Company, said that EPIC Studio brings together the company’s entire creative ecosystem—from theatrical films and OTT originals to television, digital-first formats and branded content—under a unified studio vision. According to him, the move is not merely an integration of business verticals but the creation of a collaborative environment where writers, filmmakers, creators and brand partners can develop and scale stories across multiple platforms.
Pittie added that by aligning development, production and distribution under a single structure, the company aims to enable ideas to move fluidly from concept to screen without operational silos. As audience behaviour continues to evolve, EPIC Studio is designed to champion culturally resonant storytelling while building a sustainable and future-ready creative ecosystem.
Krishnani, who will lead the films division, said the studio is focused on building an audience-driven mainstream film production arm committed to delivering fresh and engaging stories for both theatrical and streaming platforms. He noted that the studio has already expanded its presence beyond the Hindi film market into Telugu, Tamil, Gujarati and Malayalam cinema.
He further emphasised that in the current content landscape, studios must go beyond simply producing films. According to him, the focus at EPIC Studio will be on nurturing creative talent, investing in strong development processes and building stories with long-term vision through disciplined greenlighting, franchise building and meaningful creative partnerships.
Meanwhile, Khan said the integration allows the company to approach storytelling with a unified studio mindset. Rather than developing content in isolation for individual platforms, EPIC Studio will focus on building intellectual properties under one creative umbrella with scale and longevity in mind.
He added that as audience viewing habits evolve rapidly, the studio will focus on format-driven innovation, stronger narratives and stories capable of expanding across seasons, platforms and geographies. The integrated structure, he noted, will help the studio respond more dynamically to audience expectations while remaining anchored in purposeful storytelling.
EPIC Studio will operate as the unified content and film production arm of The EPIC Company, which was formerly known as IN10 Media Network. The company’s ecosystem spans the entire content lifecycle—from creation to distribution—and is led by entrepreneur Aditya Pittie with a vision of building globally competitive media brands that combine creative excellence with technological innovation.
With the integration of Juggernaut Productions and MovieVerse Studio into EPIC Studio, the company aims to strengthen its position as a creator-led storytelling platform capable of producing television series, web series, theatrical films and a range of digital-first formats for both domestic and international audiences.
