JioStar Entertainment has unveiled the latest episode of ‘The Collective’, its conversation-led platform that brings together influential voices from India’s advertising and entertainment ecosystem. The new episode takes a close look at how television continues to play a decisive role in building strong, lasting brands, even as media consumption becomes increasingly fragmented.
According to a JioStar press release, the episode is moderated by journalist and producer Anuradha Sengupta and features an in-depth discussion with four of the industry’s most respected creative leaders. The conversation brings together KV Sridhar (Pops), Global Chief Creative Officer at Nihilent Limited and Hypercollective; Rahul Mathew, Chief Creative Officer, DDB Mudra Group; PG Aditya, Co-founder and Chief Creative Officer, Talented and Josy Paul, Chairman and Chief Creative Officer, BBDO India.
Anchored in decades of creative and strategic experience, the discussion reinforces television’s position as the bedrock of effective brand-building. The speakers reflect on how TV continues to deliver unmatched reach, trust and cultural impact, creating shared national moments that cut across demographics. They emphasise television’s ability to command attention in a clutter-free environment, driving emotional storytelling that builds credibility and long-term brand equity.
The episode also explores television’s role across the entire marketing funnel, from awareness and consideration to search, engagement and conversions.
The panellists point out that despite the rise of digital platforms, television remains uniquely placed to influence consumer behaviour at scale, while complementing newer media formats in an integrated marketing strategy.
‘The Collective’ continues to evolve as an ongoing series that convenes leaders from advertising, marketing and entertainment to shape perspectives on the future of the industry. With each episode, the platform aims to spark thoughtful conversations that challenge conventions and reaffirm the role of creativity and storytelling in driving business impact.
