Gaming and Entertainment company Smaaash Entertainment has announced the appointment of Shirish Kotmire as the new chief executive officer.

Shirish is based in Mumbai and will build a team of experienced chief experience officers who shall create new benchmarks in this industry.

Kotmire brings together about three decades of experience in global companies as new ventures and start-ups.

His previous companies in leadership positions include Reliance Retail GVK-Mumbai International Airport, Bharti Airtel, Rediff and Asian Paints, among others.

His top skills are business development, financial planning, business strategy, and execution as well as team management, according to his LinkedIn profile.

Kotmire holds a postgraduate diploma in marketing from IIM Bangalore.
