Sania Fazal has joined JioStar as Creative Director – Brand Solutions, Content Partnerships & Branded Content, stepping into a leadership role focused on driving branded storytelling and strategic partnerships across the company’s television and digital platforms.
The development was announced through a LinkedIn post update, where Fazal shared that she was beginning her new position at JioStar. In her new role, she will lead content partnerships and branded content initiatives across the Hindi-speaking market, working on integration ecosystems and advertising products across multiple platforms.
Her mandate includes building strategic collaborations across properties such as Colors, Star Plus and JioHotstar, while also mentoring teams and shaping frameworks designed to deliver both cultural relevance and business growth. The role positions her at the forefront of innovation-led brand solutions and cross-platform content strategies within the company’s portfolio.
Fazal moves to JioStar after spending more than nine years at Viacom18 Media Private Limited, where she most recently served as Senior Manager – Brand Solutions & Partnerships. During her tenure, she handled large-scale content collaborations and branded integrations across popular entertainment properties, including Bigg Boss, Khatron Ke Khiladi and Laughter Chefs. Her work contributed to several award-winning campaigns recognised at industry platforms such as Goafest, ET Sharks and the Indian Digital Marketing Awards.
She began her professional journey with HT Media Ltd, where she worked on customised brand solutions across key media properties, and also had a brief stint at MitKat Advisory Services earlier in her career.
With this move, Fazal takes on a strategic leadership position at JioStar, focusing on strengthening branded content ecosystems, expanding partnership opportunities, and driving integrated marketing solutions across the company’s expanding media network.
