Puthuyugam TV, one of the popular Tamil entertainment channel brings special programs on Diwali which are a blend of tradition and modernity.

To begin the festivity on an auspicious note, ‘Anugraha Bashanam’ will be telecast at 5:30 am.

Puthuyugam takes its viewers to ‘Rathnagiri Murugan’ temple for a special Dharshan at 6 am followed by Astrologer Mahesh Aiyer’s astrological predictions for the day.

The channel shows the exemplary performance by Vinayaga Nattyalaya on Narakasura Katha.

With this, upcoming film stars will showcase their talents in the Game Show ‘Mundhi Mundhi Vilayaadu’ to be aired at 9 am, the channel said in a statement.

The channel also brings a special Debate show at 10 am followed by ‘Konjam Talk Konjam Joke’ with National Film Award Winner Appukutty at 11:30 am.

Special Diwali recipes by Yogambal Mami, ‘Rusikalam Vaanga Show’ will be aired at 12:30 pm.

A talk show about Kalki’s Ponniyin Selvan and the historical events of the Chozha-Pandiya era will be aired at 1 pm.

Lakshmi Natarajan one of Kalki’s descent, will tell us more about the enthralling and fascinating facts about Ponniyin Selvan.

Literary Speaker Tiruppur Krishnan, Novelist Kaalachakkaram Narasimha, and Authors Baskaran, Krishnamurthy, Jayaram Ragunath will be part of the panel to make the show more interesting.
