On the heels of the success of ‘Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire,’ actor Prabhas has officially announced his upcoming project, ‘The Raja Saab,’ marking the auspicious occasion of Pongal.
Described as a ‘spellbinding romantic horror entertainer,’ the film will be helmed by director Maruthi, renowned for hits like ‘Prati Roju Pandage’ and ‘Prema Katha Chitram.’ The pan-India venture is set to be produced by TG Vishwa Prasad under the banner of People Media Factory, PTI reported.
Expressing excitement, Maruthi shared, “Collaborating with Prabhas and People Media Factory is both an honor and exciting for me as a filmmaker. ‘The Raja Saab’ stands as one of my most ambitious projects to date.”
Vishwa Prasad, the producer behind films like ‘Karthikeya 2‘ and ‘Dhamaka,’ expressed delight in having Prabhas on board for the romantic horror flick. “Audiences can expect to see him in a massy and vintage look that they have long yearned for,” he added.
The film promises an electrifying experience with Prabhas in a lead role, known for his pan-India appeal. Composer Thaman S, famous for ‘Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo,’ is set to create the musical backdrop for ‘The Raja Saab.’
Anticipation is high for this multi-language release, with the film set to captivate audiences in Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, Telugu, and Hindi. The collaboration aims to deliver a unique blend of horror and romance, leaving fans eager for this cinematic journey to unfold.
