Home appliance brand Philips has announced a new consumer engagement partnership with ‘Wheel of Fortune India’, offering customers a rare opportunity to experience the thrill of playing one of the world’s most iconic game shows on national television. The association brings together everyday shopping and prime-time entertainment, turning loyal consumers into on-screen participants.
Under the initiative, Philips will select 15 consumers to appear on ‘Wheel of Fortune India’ and play the game alongside Bollywood star Akshay Kumar. The campaign is designed to transform routine purchases into memorable experiences, giving participants a chance to step onto a televised stage that reaches millions of households across the country.
The contest is open to consumers who purchase any Philips product worth Rs.1,500 or more. After the purchase, participants can scan a QR code available at participating retail outlets, complete a simple registration process, and enter the ‘Spin the Wheel’ contest. From this pool, winners will be chosen to feature on the show.
Commenting on the partnership, Pooja Baid, Chief Marketing Officer, Versuni India, said that ‘Wheel of Fortune’ is a format that naturally resonates with family audiences, a space where Philips has long been present.
‘Wheel of Fortune’ is among the most celebrated game shows globally. Recognised by Guinness World Records as the world’s most popular TV game show and honoured with the Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Game Show, the format has enjoyed decades of success across international markets.
