OWN (Oprah Winfrey Network) has announced the first look of their new drama, ‘The Kings of Napa’.
Backed by writer and executive producer Janine Sherman Barrois and Warner Bros. Television, the show is to premiere on OWN on January 11, 2022.
‘The Kings of Napa’ is centred on a gorgeous and picturesque Napa Valley, California vineyard owned by the Kings, an aspirational African American family whose wealth and status lands them on the pages of design magazines and society pages, the company said in a statement.
The show features Ebonée Noel, Rance Nix, Karen LeBlanc, Isiah Whitlock Jr, Yaani King Mondschein, Bridgette Pierce, Ashlee Brian, Christian King, and Devika Parikh.
‘The Kings of Napa’ is produced by Harpo Films in association with Warner Bros. Television. Sherman Barrois serves as showrunner and executive producer alongside Michelle Listenbee Brown and Oprah Winfrey. Academy Award winner Matthew A. Cherry directs the first two episodes of the series.
