TV9 Network has officially announced the second edition of the News9 Global Summit Germany, set to take place in Stuttgart from October 8 to 10.
The announcement was made at a joint press conference by Barun Das, Managing Director and CEO of TV9 Network, Florian Hassler, State Secretary of the State of Baden-Württemberg, and Rouven Kasper, Board Member and Chief Marketing & Sales Officer of VfB Stuttgart 1893 AG.
According to a press release from TV9 Network, the summit returns after a highly successful debut and will this time celebrate a milestone — 25 years of Indo-German partnership. The three-day summit will host high-level dialogues on key themes including democracy, trade, development, sustainability, and innovation, with a shared commitment to bolstering bilateral ties amid an evolving global order.

Speaking at the conference, Das remarked, “The second edition of the News9 Global Summit is a bridge between two innovation-driven democracies. As we celebrate 25 years of Indo-German partnership, this summit will spark transformative dialogue on shared challenges and opportunities, shaping a future anchored in collaboration, sustainability, and inclusive growth.”
Das emphasized the spirit of cooperation in global diplomacy, stating “we don’t have to win at the loss of somebody else, as a country”, and went on to highlight how India and Germany complement each other — India with its large market, IT expertise and youthful workforce, and Germany with its technological prowess and innovation. “India and Germany fit each other like a jigsaw puzzle,” he added.
In addition to the larger national partnership, the Summit will also commemorate a decade of strategic ties between the Indian state of Maharashtra and the German state of Baden-Württemberg, a powerful example of how sub-national collaborations can shape international diplomacy.
Das also drew attention to India’s thriving regional media landscape, calling it a reflection of the country’s cultural diversity and democratic spirit.
Hassler, representing Baden-Württemberg, expressed enthusiasm for hosting the summit. “As we celebrate 25 years of Indo-German partnership, Baden-Württemberg is proud to host the News9 Global Summit. This platform strengthens our ties with India, fosters innovation, and promotes democratic dialogue,” he said, adding that the collaboration is aimed at shaping a sustainable and inclusive future.
Kasper of VfB Stuttgart, reflecting on last year’s success, said, “Last year, the summit was a tremendous success, not just for those participating but also for those watching. We warmly welcome all of you to Stuttgart, Germany, not just because it’s a wonderful occasion, but because we will have inspiring speakers and compelling content from both India and Germany.”
