News18 Network has launched an innovative and interactive out-of-home (OOH) campaign at GroupM offices, creating significant buzz around its extensive election coverage.
In this unique campaign, strategically placed branded screens at GroupM offices initially appeared to be standard OOH media displays. However, employees were pleasantly surprised when these screens came to life, featuring News18 anchors who began interacting with them directly, the news channel said in a press release.
The interactive screens featured prominent News18 personalities such as Zakka Jacob, Managing Editor of CNN-News18, Rahul Shivshankar, Consulting Editor at Network18, and Rubika Liyaquat, Consulting Editor at News18 India. These anchors engaged in candid conversations with GroupM employees who passed by or sat near the screens, enhancing the interactive experience.
This campaign effectively highlights News18’s robust positioning as the go-to destination for comprehensive election coverage. The surprise element of live interactions with well-known anchors created an engaging atmosphere, making the employees part of the election excitement.
The objective of the campaign is to emphasize News18‘s extensive and unmatched coverage of the General Elections, supported by a highly experienced team of anchors, widespread reach, significant on-ground presence, and a diverse range of content across TV, digital, and social platforms.
Through this innovative approach, News18 successfully showcased its capacity to deliver unparalleled election programming, reinforcing its status as a leader in news coverage.
