Network18’s immersive coverage of Maha Kumbh 2025, the world’s largest spiritual gathering, has amassed over 200 million views across its platforms. With dynamic programming, state-of-the-art technology, and a comprehensive on-ground setup, Network18 has positioned itself as the go-to source for Maha Kumbh content.

A month before the festival began, Network18 launched News18 Kumbh, a digital-first channel dedicated to Maha Kumbh coverage. Streaming round-the-clock on YouTube and DTH platforms like Den and Hathway, the channel has captivated audiences with live streams, podcasts, explainers, and a specially produced Maha Kumbh documentary, the news network said in a press release.

The channel’s exclusive interview with IIT Baba, a viral sensation blending faith and modernity, has garnered over 50 million views on social platforms, underlining its popularity. News18 Kumbh offers an unmatched perspective on the event, with stories that resonate deeply with viewers.

Adding to the excitement, News18 India’s flagship show, Bhaiyaji Kahin, will broadcast live from Prayagraj for an entire week in February. Featuring in-depth discussions with devotees and thought leaders, the show aims to explore the spiritual and cultural richness of the Maha Kumbh.

On the six auspicious snan days, Network18 plans to host 25 live streams across 15 YouTube channels, capturing the sacred bathing rituals that symbolize the essence of the Maha Kumbh. These streams are expected to engage over 5 million viewers, offering a direct window into this extraordinary gathering.

Network18 has mobilized teams from CNN-News18, News18 India, and regional channels to create a dedicated Kumbh bureau at the Mela grounds. This team of 15 reporters and 15 camera crews operates round the clock from a fully equipped camp office, delivering content in English, Hindi, and eight regional languages.

With advanced resources like drones and 360-degree video technology, the network captures the grandeur of the Maha Kumbh with unparalleled depth and clarity. This extensive coverage brings to life the rituals of the 13 akhadas, the vibrant stories of devotees, and the cultural essence of the event.

Network18’s coverage of Maha Kumbh 2025 not only highlights the spiritual fervor of the festival but also bridges the gap between tradition and modernity. Through its storytelling, the network presents a fresh lens on this age-old tradition, blending human experiences with cutting-edge technology.

Audiences can continue to explore exclusive live streams, insightful stories, and immersive experiences by visiting News18 Kumbh’s YouTube Channel.
