English news channel NDTV has launched an insightful new series titled ‘India Through the Eyes of Its Icons,’ which premiered on August 14, 2024.
Jointly hosted by Nikunj Garg, Senior Managing Editor of NDTV, and Marya Shakil, Executive Editor (National Affairs), the series aims to showcase the vision and contributions of prominent personalities who have enhanced India’s global standing in various fields.
This program delves into the experiences, thoughts, and journeys of these luminaries, offering viewers a unique perspective on how these icons have shaped India’s social, cultural, and political landscape. By highlighting their personal stories, the show captures the essence of their impact on the country’s development and future progress.
In its initial episodes, the series has featured interviews with legendary sarod player Ustad Amjad Ali Khan and his sons Aman Ali Bangash and Ayaan Ali Bangash, the Indian hockey team that won a bronze medal at the Paris Olympics, renowned legal expert Harish Salve, Olympic medalist shooter Mani Bhaker and her coach, and Bollywood actor Shatrughan Sinha.
