Each January, the Swiss town of Davos becomes the meeting point for policymakers, business leaders and institutions shaping the global economic narrative. This year, NDTV will return to the annual World Economic Forum (WEF) meeting with on-ground coverage from January 19 to 23, 2026, positioning India firmly within the world’s most influential conversations.
The network’s presence at Davos has been outlined in a press release, underscoring NDTV’s long-standing engagement with the forum and its intent to foreground India’s perspective as global leaders debate growth, geopolitics, technology and capital flows. NDTV has reported from Davos for over two decades, chronicling shifts in economic thinking, political realignments and the evolving role of markets and institutions.
Against the backdrop of a world economy grappling with new uncertainties and alignments, NDTV’s reporting will focus on how these global debates are formed and contested, and how India participates in and influences them. From geopolitics and global growth to climate action, technology and investment trends, the coverage will aim to place international discussions within the context of India’s economic priorities, strategic outlook and long-term ambitions.
The programming, branded as NDTV Ignite @ Davos, aligns with the World Economic Forum’s theme for 2026, A Spirit of Dialogue. Through interviews, discussions and on-ground reportage, NDTV plans to capture the diversity of views and debates that define the forum, while maintaining a consistent Indian lens on global decision-making.
Reporting from Davos will be led by NDTV’s senior editorial leadership. The coverage will be helmed by Rahul Kanwal, CEO and Editor-in-Chief, NDTV Network, alongside Vishnu Som, Senior Managing Editor, NDTV 24×7; Tamanna Inamdar, Managing Editor, NDTV Profit; and Ayush Ailawadi, Editor, Technology. Together, the team brings editorial depth, subject expertise and on-ground reporting strength to anchor India’s voice within the global dialogue.
NDTV’s World Economic Forum coverage will be available across the NDTV Network, offering viewers insight into how global perspectives evolve through the week in Davos and how those conversations intersect with India’s role on the world stage.
