NDTV has announced the appointment of Naveen Kapoor as Editor of NDTV World, strengthening the network’s global editorial leadership as it expands its international news footprint. The move is aimed at enhancing the channel’s global outlook and reinforcing its commitment to credible and independent journalism.
According to a press release, Kapoor brings more than 25 years of newsroom experience and has been part of the core leadership teams behind some of India’s most influential news organisations, including Times Now, WION and Press Trust of India. Over the course of his career, he has played a key role in building, scaling and leading news platforms that have emerged as leaders in their respective segments.
Commenting on the appointment, Rahul Kanwal, CEO and Editor-in-Chief of NDTV, said Kapoor’s experience in building global newsrooms and managing complex editorial operations makes him a strong addition to NDTV World as the network deepens its international focus. He added that Kapoor’s leadership and editorial depth align closely with the organisation’s journalism-first approach.
