MIB says no film denied screening permission at Keralam film festival

The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting has clarified that no film has been denied permission for screening at the 18th International Documentary and Short Film Festival of Keralam (IDSFFK).

According to an ANI report from New Delhi today, the ministry said that six films have been asked to provide more detailed synopses. Some films have also been sent to sectoral authorities for review based on their subject matter.

The clarification came after concerns were raised over the screening permission of films selected for the festival.The ministry said that permission has not been denied to any film and that the films are going through the required review process.

The 18th International Documentary and Short Film Festival of Keralam is being held in Thiruvananthapuram. The festival features documentary and short films from filmmakers.

The ministry’s clarification comes amid the ongoing discussion over screening permissions for films at the festival.

Amazing and grim battle for survival. Guess it will end up in Supreme Court. All that NCLT asked Zee to do was to file a reply to Invesco petition for a EGM. Now this is getting too serious.
