India’s multilingual microblogging platform, Koo App, has been launched in Brazil with the addition of the Portuguese language, making it available in 11 native languages now.
The platform received a fantastic reaction from Brazilian users within 48 hours of launch, with over 1 million user downloads.
For the past three days, Koo has held the top spot on both the Apple App Store and the Android Play Store. By expanding the app’s availability to other nations and debuting in multiple international languages, Koo hopes to further solidify its position on the global stage.
Due to its linguistic concentration, Koo is expected to attract a large number of new users to its platform, according to the firm. Within two days of its launch, millions of new users in Brazil switched to Koo. Koo, an open platform for language-based self-expression, recently saw 2 million “Koos” and 10 million “Likes” from users in Brazil alone, the company stated.
As Koo continues to gain popularity throughout the nation, it will soon be possible to import follower lists and tweets from Twitter to a Koo account for a smooth transition.
