K Anand Raman has joined Sony Pictures Networks India as Senior Vice President, moving from JioStar, where he served as Vice President.
Raman announced his appointment in a LinkedIn post. He has more than two decades of experience in television, radio and print advertising sales. He served as Vice President at JioStar from November 2024 to September 2026.
Before joining JioStar, Raman held several positions at Star TV Network, including Director, Assistant Vice President, Regional Sales Head and Advertising Sales Manager. His profile includes experience with Star Maa, Star Movies, National Geographic and Fox Life.
As Regional Sales Head from July 2014 to June 2017, Raman worked on National Geographic’s standard-definition and high-definition channels, Nat Geo Wild and Fox Life. Earlier, as Advertising Sales Manager, he was involved in revenue planning and team supervision for Star Movies.
Raman joined Star in February 2008 as a Senior Executive and later became Assistant Manager Group Head. His responsibilities included airtime monetisation and managing relationships with advertisers and media agencies.
Earlier, Raman worked as Key Account Manager at Radio City India from July 2006 to January 2008. He also worked as Senior Advertising Executive at Chitralekha Group from June 2004 to June 2006, where he handled advertiser relationships, advertising revenue and new business development for its publications.
