Grammy Award-winning singer-songwriter John Mayer is all set to make his India debut with a live performance in Mumbai on January 22. The announcement has created a buzz among music lovers, who have long awaited the arrival of the celebrated American artist on Indian shores.
The show will be part of Mayer’s global tour and will take place at MMRDA Grounds, Bandra Kurla Complex in Mumbai. Known for his soulful voice, masterful guitar skills and hits such as ‘Gravity’, ‘Your Body Is a Wonderland’ and ‘Slow Dancing in a Burning Room’, Mayer enjoys a massive fan following across the world. This will be the first time Indian audiences get to experience him perform live.
According to an IANS report, tickets for the concert will go on sale starting October 5. Organisers are expecting a strong response as Mayer’s music has resonated with fans across generations, blending elements of blues, rock and pop with relatable storytelling.
