The Indian Broadcasting and Digital Foundation (IBDF) has announced changes to its board, with Ashish Sehgal joining as a new director.
According to a Storyboard18 report today, Sehgal, CEO of Zoom Entertainment, has been inducted into the IBDF board. The changes were announced during the foundation’s 27th Annual General Meeting (AGM).
Kevin Vaz of JioStar has been re-elected as the President of IBDF. The development comes as the industry body continues to have senior executives from the broadcasting and media sector on its board.
I Venkat has stepped down from the IBDF board. John Brittas, Managing Director of Malayalam Communications, has joined the board as a director in his place.
Sehgal’s appointment marks a new addition to the IBDF leadership. He currently heads Zoom Entertainment, which is part of The Times Group.The leadership changes were announced as IBDF held its 27th AGM, bringing together representatives from the broadcasting and digital media industry.
