As the festival of lights approaches, ET NOW, one of India’s leading business news channels, has announced its exclusive Diwali programming lineup under the theme ‘Samvat 2082: Save, Invest, Prosper.’
The special festive programming, presented by SBI Bank and co-powered by SBI Life Insurance and Polycab, promises a week-long celebration of wealth creation, market insights, and investment wisdom. The special coverage runs through the week up to Monday, October 20, and culminates with the ‘Grand Muhurat Trading Special’ on October 21.
According to a press release, ET NOW’s Diwali special comes at a crucial time when the Indian economy is witnessing positive tailwinds. With GST rate cuts across key sectors and the government’s renewed focus on easing household financial burdens, the timing of this special coverage highlights the intersection of policy reforms and festive consumer sentiment. Throughout the week, the channel will decode the economic pulse, gauge investment sentiment, and present insights from some of the country’s top market experts, fund managers, and CEOs.
The programming lineup includes several marquee shows such as INVESTMENT GURUS, which brings together prominent investors like Atul Suri (Marathon Trends), Hiren Ved (Alchemy Capital), Venugopal Garre (Bernstein), Ramesh Damani (BSE), and Rajeev Thakkar (PPFAS Mutual Fund). They will share their market philosophies and outlook for Samvat 2082. Another special, CONSUMPTION PULSE, will explore India’s festive consumption patterns across sectors like automobiles, FMCG, retail, jewellery, and real estate. The show will feature insights from business leaders including Santosh Iyer (Mercedes-Benz India), Pushpa Bector (DLF Retail), Harsh Mariwala (Marico), B Thiagarajan (Blue Star), Manoj Verma (Bikaji Foods), and Neeraj Walia (Montblanc India).
Further strengthening its investor-focused programming, DEAL OR NO DEAL will offer live answers to viewer stock queries, while FUND’TASTIC MANAGERS will showcase strategies from leading fund managers like Radhika Gupta (Edelweiss MF), Aniruddha Naha (PGIM India), Aashish Somaiyaa (WhiteOak Capital), Prashant Jain (3P Investment Managers), and Sailesh Raj Bhan (Nippon India MF). Other programs include COMMODITY CENTRAL, which tracks trends in gold, silver, energy, and agriculture, and CRACKER STOCKS, identifying short, medium, and long-term investment opportunities categorized as “Safe Sparklers,” “High-Risk Rockets,” and “Value Bombs.”
The special programming will also feature dedicated one-hour and primetime segments. On October 15 at 4.30 pm, ET NOW Realty Reckoner will present an in-depth analysis of India’s real estate market—covering metros, emerging cities, rental trends, REITs, and property as an asset class. Following that, on October 17 at 7 pm, ‘The Ultimate Snakes & Ladders’ will recap the highs and lows of the financial markets over the past year, exploring corrections, milestones, and shifting investor sentiment.
The grand finale, ‘Muhurat Trading Special’, will air on October 21 from 1 pm to 3 pm, featuring live market coverage and wealth insights from industry stalwarts including Nilesh Shah (Envision Capital), Sunil Singhania (Abakkus Asset Manager LLP), and veteran investor Vijay Kedia.
With ‘Samvat 2082: Save, Invest, Prosper’, ET NOW aims to guide investors through a week of meaningful financial discussions and expert-led insights, making it a fitting celebration of prosperity this Diwali.
