Organised by TV9 Bangla, ‘Brands of Bengal-Season IV’ presented an immersive awards experience that honoured some of the most promising and impactful brands of Bengal. From sectors like Real Estate, Education, Pharmaceuticals, Technology, Healthcare, Restaurants and Hospitality, the initiative recognises organisations that continue to serve and shape the City of Joy.
TV9 Bangla ‘Brands of Bengal’ is set to telecast in four episodes — the first two episodes on February 14 and 15, while the remaining two will be aired on February 21 and 22 from 11.30 am to 12 pm, respectively.
With the core idea of igniting the spirit of entrepreneurship among the people of Bengal, who are averse to risk-taking, ‘Brands of Bengal’, according to a TV9 Network press release, aims to inspire the next gen to step into the world of business.
It aims to highlight stories behind successful businesses that once underwent hardships, chronicling the journey of entrepreneurs, the challenges, dedication, hard work, grit, determination and unwavering commitment that has defined Bengal’s evolving economic landscape.
K.Vikram, Chief Operating Officer, National & International, TV9 Network, said, “Bengal has always been a land of ideas—be it literature, cinema, art or industry. Undivided Bengal was once the industrial hub of British India. However, after partition, due to various socioeconomic challenges the state gradually lost that prominence. Today we are witnessing a turnaround. The business and industrial institutions of Bengal have demonstrated remarkable resilience, creativity, and global ambition.
“ ‘Brands of Bengal’ is our humble attempt to recognise and honour such organisations that have not only achieved commercial success but have also contributed meaningfully to society. This event is not just about awards; it is about recognition, inspiration, and connection. An opportunity to motivate the next generation of entrepreneurs.”
Tollywood celebs like Abir Chatterjee, Monami Ghosh were present in the ‘Brands of Bengal’ event, which concluded with a high-octane gala night laced with music that transformed the dance floor into a vibrant affair. The evening was graced by leading actors from Tollywood like Padmashri Prosenjit Chatterjee, Rituparna Sengupta, Jishu Sengupta and Srijit Mukherjee.
