Popular digital creator Ashish Chanchlani is stepping into a new chapter of his career with his directorial debut, ‘Ekaki’, a supernatural web series set to stream on YouTube from November 27.
Adding to the excitement, the makers have dropped the official trailer, giving fans a thrilling glimpse into what promises to be an eerie and entertaining ride.
According to an IANS report, the trailer opens with Chanchlani narrating to his friends the story of an abandoned bungalow that once belonged to his uncle, famously called the ‘Ekaki Villa’. Intrigued by the mystery surrounding the house, the group of friends plans a weekend getaway there, hoping for a fun break.
However, what begins as a light-hearted party soon turns into a terrifying ordeal when they encounter supernatural forces lurking within the bungalow. As the trailer teases, the friends’ joy turns into panic as they face inexplicable and spine-chilling events that could change their lives forever.
Sharing the trailer on social media, Chanchlani wrote, “Here is the official trailer for you all — seven friends, one life-changing mysterious trip. Ekaki, an original series streaming from 27th November on YouTube for free.”
The post, featuring emojis and a shout-out to his co-stars Akash Dodeja, Harsh Rane, Sidhant Sarfare, Shashank Shekhar, Rohit Sadhwani, Grishim Nawani, and Akshay Alok, instantly drew attention.
Apart from directing, Chanchlani also serves as the producer, writer and actor in ‘Ekaki’, marking his venture into long-format storytelling under his home banner, ACV Studios.
