Veteran actor Anupam Kher has announced his next cinematic venture, reuniting with acclaimed filmmaker Sooraj Barjatya for what will be his 549th film.

Reflecting on his long-standing association with the director and Rajshri Films, Kher recalled how their creative journey began decades ago. “Sooraj was Mahesh Bhatt Saab’s fifth assistant for my first film ‘Saaransh’! It has been a long, happy, amazing, and creatively joyous journey with him. Actually, I am an integral part of Rajshri Films and their family for all these years. As is the tradition, I had the privilege to be in the first shot of the film!” he added, signing off with his characteristic warmth: “Jai Shri Krishna! #549th #GodIsKind #LifeIsBeautiful #Blessed.”
