Hyderabad-based animation studio Living Pixels Entertainment has started production on Season 2 of the animated series ‘Grisu’, produced by Italy-based Mondo TV Group.
According to a Living Pixels Entertainment press release, the second season will have 52 episodes of 11 minutes each and is scheduled for delivery by the end of 2027.
Rai Kids has signed a pre-acquisition agreement for the new season, while ZDF Studios has joined as a co-production partner. Mondo TV Group, Calidra, Rai Kids, ZDF Studios and ZDF are also involved in the production and distribution of the series.
Living Pixels Entertainment will support the show with animation production, CG asset development and production pipeline management.
The company has also received exclusive distribution rights for the audiovisual series, along with licensing and merchandising rights for India.
