Actor Ali Fazal announced that he has completed filming for the much-anticipated Anurag Basu film ‘Metro In Dino’. This movie is the follow-up to Basu’s critically acclaimed 2007 film ‘Life In A Metro’, PTI reported.
In a statement, Fazal expressed his gratitude and excitement, saying, “Wrapping up Metro In Dino has been a journey filled with emotion, joy, and creativity. Working with Anurag sir has been an absolute honour. His vision and storytelling have always inspired me, and I’m thrilled to be part of this incredible team.”
Fazal, known for his roles in ‘3 Idiots’, the ‘Fukrey’ franchise, and ‘Mirzapur’, is part of a stellar ensemble cast that includes Aditya Roy Kapur, Sara Ali Khan, Anupam Kher, Neena Gupta, Pankaj Tripathi, Konkona Sensharma, and Fatima Sana Shaikh.
Produced by Bhushan Kumar of T-Series and Anurag Basu Productions Pvt Ltd, the film features music by Pritam, who has previously collaborated with Basu on hits like ‘Gangster’, ‘Life in a Metro’, ‘Barfi!’, ‘Jagga Jasoos’, and ‘Ludo’.
Fans eagerly await the film, which promises to deliver another engaging and emotional story.
