Zee Entertainment Enterprises has elevated Jit Sengupta to the position of Vice President – Central Marketing & Creative Services, expanding his leadership responsibilities across several key business verticals within the media company. Sengupta announced the development through an update on LinkedIn.
In his new role, Sengupta will oversee marketing strategy and creative services for a broad portfolio of Zee’s channels and businesses. His mandate includes the Hindi Movie Cluster, Marathi Movie Cluster, Bhojpuri channel portfolio, Youth Cluster comprising Zest and Zing, as well as Zee Live and the Unite8 Sports cluster of channels.
Sharing the news on social media, Sengupta wrote, “Happy to share my new role in Zee as Vice President – Central Marketing & Creative Services. In this role I’ll be leading marketing for Hindi Movie Cluster, Marathi Movie Cluster, Bhojpuri, Youth Cluster: Zest & Zing, Zee Live & Unite8 Sports cluster of channels.”
The elevation comes as Zee continues to strengthen its content and audience engagement strategies across regional entertainment, movies, youth-focused programming, live events and sports properties. With a diverse portfolio under his leadership, Sengupta will play a key role in driving brand positioning, audience growth and creative communication initiatives across multiple platforms.
Before joining Zee, Sengupta built his marketing and brand management expertise across some of India’s leading media organizations. He previously worked with the ABP Group as a Brand Manager and later served as Deputy Manager – Brand Strategy for the East Zone at The Times of India.
Over the years, he has established a strong track record in media marketing, brand development and audience-focused campaigns, making him a familiar name in the broadcasting and publishing sectors. His promotion reflects Zee’s confidence in his ability to lead marketing and creative functions across an increasingly diversified entertainment portfolio.
