Dish TV India Ltd. has expanded its connected entertainment portfolio with the launch of its VZY Smart TV ecosystem in Kerala, bringing together television broadcasting, OTT streaming, regional content and uninterrupted viewing under a single platform. The company said the new offering has been designed to cater to the evolving entertainment preferences of modern households seeking a more seamless and connected viewing experience.
According to a Dish TV press release, the launch introduces a comprehensive entertainment ecosystem built around the new VZY Smart TV range, including a premium 65-inch model. The smart televisions are designed to provide consumers with easy access to live TV channels, OTT platforms, sports programming, regional content and on-demand entertainment through a unified interface, eliminating the need to switch between multiple devices and platforms.
The company said the VZY Smart TVs are powered by advanced display and audio technologies aimed at delivering an immersive home viewing experience. Whether it is movies, live sporting events or daily entertainment content, the televisions are positioned as an all-in-one solution for connected families looking for convenience and enhanced content accessibility.
As part of the initiative, Dish TV has also unveiled its “FIFA to FIFA” entertainment proposition, allowing consumers to enjoy uninterrupted television services throughout the FIFA World Cup cycle. The offering combines smart television technology with integrated connected TV services, creating a simplified entertainment ecosystem for viewers.
Adding to the proposition is the company’s “Sports Always-On” feature, which aims to ensure viewers remain connected to major sporting events even during temporary recharge gaps or service interruptions. The feature has been introduced to address one of the common concerns among sports enthusiasts who do not want to miss live action during crucial tournaments and matches.
Commenting on the launch, Manoj Dobhal, Chief Executive Officer and Executive Director of Dish TV India Ltd., said consumers today are increasingly looking for a seamless entertainment experience that combines television, streaming services and regional content within a single ecosystem. He added that the new offering is focused on simplifying content access while delivering greater flexibility, convenience and uninterrupted viewing for households across Kerala.
Sukhpreet Singh, Chief Revenue Officer at Dish TV India Ltd., highlighted Kerala’s strong affinity for regional entertainment and premium viewing experiences. He said the VZY Smart TV ecosystem has been developed by combining advanced technology, curated regional content and integrated entertainment services tailored to changing consumer preferences.
With the launch of VZY Smart TVs in Kerala, Dish TV is looking to strengthen its presence in the connected entertainment segment while addressing the growing demand for smart, integrated and content-rich viewing experiences. The move also reflects the company’s broader strategy of bringing together traditional television and digital streaming services into a single, future-ready entertainment platform.
