Kanpur witnessed a gathering of policymakers, industry leaders, entrepreneurs, academicians and cultural personalities as UP Tak hosted the fourth edition of its flagship initiative, ‘Viksit UP Baithak’, aimed at fostering meaningful discussions on Uttar Pradesh’s development journey and future growth opportunities.
The event served as a platform for deliberations on key issues shaping the state’s economic, industrial, social and infrastructural progress. Bringing together voices from government, business, education and culture, the forum focused on identifying opportunities, addressing challenges and exploring strategies that can contribute to Uttar Pradesh’s long-term development.
Among the prominent participants were Swatantra Dev Singh, Minister of Jal Shakti, Government of Uttar Pradesh; Brajesh Pathak, Deputy Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh; Vijay Kapoor; Ramesh Awasthi; Braj Bhushan; Vishwanath Gupta; comedian Anu Awasthi; and renowned folk singer Malini Awasthi, along with several other representatives from government, industry and academia.
Speaking about the initiative, Milind Khandekar, Managing Editor of Tak Channels, said that Viksit UP Baithak has been conceived as a platform for meaningful and solution-oriented conversations around Uttar Pradesh’s growth story. He noted that as the state continues to make progress across multiple sectors, it becomes increasingly important to create forums where leaders, experts and stakeholders can exchange ideas, discuss challenges and identify opportunities that can help shape a stronger future for the state.
The Kanpur edition continued the series’ objective of encouraging constructive dialogue on development, innovation, investment, infrastructure and social progress. By bringing together decision-makers and thought leaders under one roof, the event sought to highlight Uttar Pradesh’s evolving role as one of India’s fastest-growing economic centres.
UP Tak has said that discussions, key takeaways and insights from the event will be made available to viewers through its digital platforms, allowing a wider audience to engage with conversations surrounding the state’s development and future aspirations.
