Varun Kohli has stepped down from his role as director and Group CEO of Bharat Express, marking the end of his latest stint with the media network.
According to industry sources, he exited the organisation after returning to Bharat Express following a brief tenure at Times Network.
With over three decades of experience in the media industry, Kohli has been associated with several leading broadcast and media organisations during his career.
Kohli is regarded as a seasoned media professional with expertise across television broadcasting, revenue strategy, business operations and media management. His return to Bharat Express had drawn industry attention, particularly because of his long-standing experience in leading media businesses during periods of transformation and expansion.
While the reasons behind his departure have not been officially disclosed, the development comes at a time when news broadcasters continue to focus on strengthening digital operations and audience engagement amid rapid shifts in India’s media landscape.
Over the years, Kohli has held senior leadership positions across prominent media networks and has built a strong reputation in the broadcasting industry for driving business growth and operational strategy.
