Republic Media Network has appointed Mohit Dhamne as its new Group Chief Executive Officer, marking a key moment in the company’s ongoing growth trajectory.
According to the company’s official announcement, Dhamne has been a founding member of Republic and has played a crucial role in shaping the network’s evolution since its inception in 2016. He began his journey as Head of Finance and went on to take on expanded responsibilities as Company Secretary and EVP (Finance), before being elevated to Chief Financial Officer in December 2023.
With deep industry experience, Dhamne brings a strong academic and professional background to the role. He is a commerce graduate from the University of Mumbai and a qualified Chartered Accountant affiliated with the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI), as well as a Company Secretary from the Institute of Company Secretaries of India. Commenting on the appointment, Arnab Goswami, Founder, Owner and Editor-in-Chief of Republic Media Network, said Dhamne has been instrumental in the company’s sustained growth since inception. He noted that Dhamne has been at the core of the founding team and has helped navigate an ambitious and demanding journey, adding that his leadership will help the network scale new heights and unlock fresh opportunities.
Dhamne takes over at a time when the network is witnessing strong strategic momentum. In recent months, Republic has expanded its core business team by 30 percent while strengthening its leadership bench with senior executives driving defined revenue portfolios across channels and offerings.
The network has also reported robust digital growth alongside its broadcast presence.
