The makers of Ek Din, backed by Aamir Khan Productions, are set to bring audiences closer to the film’s emotional and musical world with a special event titled ‘Ek Din Ki Mehfil’ in Mumbai on April 26. The film, starring Sai Pallavi and Junaid Khan, has already generated buzz following the release of its trailer and early song previews.
According to a UNI report, the musical soirée will be held at SNDT College in Santacruz and is designed as more than just a promotional activity. The event aims to offer an immersive experience of the film’s music and emotional narrative, with live performances expected to bring its soundtrack to life in an intimate setting.
The evening is likely to see the presence of key members of the film’s team, including Aamir Khan, Sai Pallavi, Junaid Khan, and music composer Ram Sampath. Their participation is expected to add to the appeal of the event, blending live music with storytelling and audience interaction.
One of the key highlights surrounding the film is the reunion of Aamir Khan with filmmaker Mansoor Khan. The duo has previously delivered memorable films such as ‘Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak’, ‘Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar’, ‘Akele Hum Akele Tum’, and ‘Jaane Tu… Ya Jaane Na’, making their collaboration on ‘Ek Din’ particularly significant for fans.
Directed by Sunil Pandey and produced by Aamir Khan, Mansoor Khan, and Aparna Purohit, the film is slated to release in theatres on May 1. With its music-driven storytelling and growing anticipation, the upcoming mehfil is expected to further build momentum ahead of its theatrical debut.
