Zee TV is set to bring a socially relevant narrative to the forefront through its fiction show ‘Tumm Se Tumm Tak, aiming to address widespread misconceptions around heart attacks with a powerful new storyline.

According to an IANS report, the upcoming track marks a significant turning point in the show, with Aryavardhan, played by Sharad Kelkar, suffering a heart attack. The storyline is designed to reflect not just the medical emergency but also the emotional and psychological responses that often surround such situations in real life.

The show attempts to challenge commonly held beliefs that a heart attack signals the end of a normal life. Instead, it presents a more balanced perspective, highlighting how fear, misinformation, and stigma often shape public perception. Through its narrative, the show emphasises that with timely care, awareness, and lifestyle changes, individuals can continue to lead active and fulfilling lives.

Zee TV, known for integrating meaningful themes into its storytelling, uses its popular characters to influence everyday thinking and spark conversations. The new track builds on that approach by encouraging viewers to question long-standing myths and adopt a more informed outlook on health.

Mangesh Kulkarni, Chief Channel Officer at Zee TV, said the intent behind the storyline is to move away from fear-driven narratives and present heart attacks as a wake-up call rather than a defining limitation. He noted that storytelling remains one of the most effective ways to communicate such messages, especially through characters audiences connect with deeply.

Raghavendra Hunsur, Chief Content Officer at Zee Entertainment Enterprises Limited, echoed similar sentiments, adding that the aim is to reshape perceptions and bring a sense of reassurance. He emphasised that awareness and timely action can make a significant difference, and narratives like these help in bridging the gap between entertainment and meaningful learning.

Sharad Kelkar, reflecting on his role, shared that the storyline felt deeply relatable, as many people grow up with fear-driven ideas about heart health. He expressed hope that viewers will connect with the narrative and take away a more positive and aware perspective.

With this track, ‘Tumm Se Tumm Tak’ continues to blend entertainment with awareness, using storytelling as a tool to address real-life issues and encourage more informed conversations among audiences.
