Zee Telugu is set to celebrate the Telugu New Year with a festive special titled ‘Ugadi Ki Vastunam Sandadi Testunam’, continuing its tradition of bringing families together through entertainment-led programming during key festivals.
The special episode will air on March 19 at 10 am, featuring a mix of music, dance, games and celebrity interactions, curated to mark the spirit of Ugadi. Known for its festive programming, Zee Telugu has once again lined up a star-studded celebration aimed at engaging viewers across age groups.
The event will be hosted by anchor Ravi, with actress Sreeleela among the key highlights. She will appear as part of promotions for her upcoming film ‘Ustaad Bhagat Singh’ and is set to recreate the popular ‘Kurchi Madathapetti’ dance step from ‘Guntur Kaaram’, adding a lively element to the celebrations, a press release from Zee Telugu said.
Joining her on the show will be choreographer Shekar Master and actor-politician Roja, who will participate in various fun segments and performances. The team of the upcoming film ‘Swayambhu’, including Nikhil Siddhartha, Nabha Natesh and Samyuktha Menon, will also make an appearance to promote their project.
The episode will feature a series of engaging segments, including a playful ‘Whose voice is more powerful?’ challenge between Master and Roja, with participants and audience members divided into teams supporting each side. In addition, a special felicitation ceremony will honour serial dubbing artists, recognising their contributions as the voices behind popular on-screen characters.
