Indian pay television channel owned by BBC Studios and Sony Pictures Networks, Sony BBC is launching a new show named, “‘Life off the Leash’.
The show is host and travel by, Tanveer Raj and Priyanka Jena who set out an off-beat road trip with their dogs, Frodo- a Golden Retriever- and Cruise- Labrador mix.
The show is about exploring untouched and natural locations across the country, ‘Life off the Leash’ is a breath-taking visual treat, offering respite to all those suffering from lockdown crises.
They will cover Himachal Pradesh and Meghalaya to Kerala and Pondicherry, with a long 4-month trip that covers 12,500 km across 20 states. With bucketloads of dog food in their car and a mission to pack plentiful memories in their backpacks.
As the series is largely self-shot by the hosts, the channel is hosting Instagram LIVEs with different travel and pet parent influencers from GoPro’s community to stimulate more people to travel with pets.
Sony BBC Earth is also curating a pet-friendly basket for those pet parent influencers which will also serve as an all-you-need-to-know guide on traveling with pets in India.
The show will premiere on Sony BBC Earth from 31st May, Monday to Friday, at 10 PM
