SS Rajamouli’s magnum opus ‘RRR’, the period drama, announced its release will be made available on ZEE5 and Netflix.
The Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada versions of ‘RRR’will be available on ZEE5, while Netflix will stream the Hindi, Portuguese, Korean, Turkish, and Spanish versions of the film.
Bollywood critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh took to Twitter to share the news with the fans. He revealed that ZEE5 secured the digital rights for ‘RRR’for Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada language versions.
Adarsh wrote: “Besides releasing in #Hindi, #Telugu, #Tamil, #Malayalam, and #Kannada, #RRRwill also release in various foreign languages: #English, #Portuguese, #Korean, #Turkish and #Spanish… The digital streaming rights are with Netflix… OFFICIAL POSTER.”
Zee Cinema will air the world television premiere of ‘RRR’after its release in cinema halls.
Star Network’s regional channel owned the satellite rights for the film’s Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada versions.
The film stars Alluri Sitaram Raju essaying the role of Ram Charan, while Jr. NTR is playing the character of Komaram Bheem. Bollywood stars Alia Bhatt, portraying the role of Sita, and Ajay Devgn will also make their debut in South Indian cinema.
The film, slated to hit the silver screens on October 13, 2021, is directed by SS Rajamouli and produced by DVV Danayya under his production company DVV Entertainments.
